The Habersham M|A|K|E District
The MAKE District is part of a larger mixed-use neighborhood known as Habersham. With 25,000 square feet of ground floor retail and over 475 residential units already built, the village of Habersham creates an environment for a high quality of life for new businesses that could become a part of an additional 150,000 square feet of commercial space approved for the MAKE District.
The vision for the MAKE District is to expand an existing urban town center with uses such as craft manufacturing and knowledge industries that will be within walking distance of 1,400 homes. MAKE is an acronym for Makers, Artisans, Knowledge, and Enterprises. Future MAKE District businesses will be made up of entrepreneurs who are innovative, artistic and have a desire to be a part of community.
