More Than Just Gorgeous Homes

From the moment you arrive via the town center Marketplace, you're encountering the design and amenities that help set this community apart from most. The village’s "Main Street" is where you'll find the local firehouse and Post Office along with the shops and restaurants that are within walking distance of all residences. Whether returning from a day trip or out enjoying a leisurely afternoon walk to the Town Center, you’ll find a bustling collection of neighbors and visitors enjoying the quaint downtown area.

Nearby Habersham Park, the town’s largest, features a beautifully landscaped courts facility with three Har-Tru green clay tennis surfaces and four dedicated pickleball courts. Our signature park also features a community center park house, playgrounds, picnic areas, lighted fitness trail, our community gardens and even a doggie park.

Some of Habersham’s most alluring features are on the small sea islands located near the southeastern point of the property where Habersham Creek meets the Broad River. The neighborhood swimming pool, sunset tower, river retreat pavilion and deep-water dock are located on these islands and are connected by nature trails. Footbridges allow residents to explore the natural environment and waterfront park spaces throughout the 300 acre development.

Habersham Neighborhood Amenities

Recreation & Waterfront Living

If you're a water enthusiast, Habersham is the perfect place for you! Launch your boat into Habersham Creek and embark on a delightful exploration of Beaufort's picturesque waterways. At the point where the Broad River meets the vast ocean, you'll discover some of the most incredible fishing opportunities along the Atlantic Coast. Our neighborhood dock, boat ramp, and stocked ponds offer a plethora of recreational adventures, including fly fishing, cast netting, and crab trapping.

If you're looking for a new hobby, why not try paddle boarding or kayaking? With our mild climate, you can indulge in water activities almost all year round! If you love being near the water and not necessarily on the water, Habersham is just a few minutes drive from some of Beaufort County’s best park facilities including Widgeon Point Nature Preserve, Broad River Fishing Pier, and Burton Wells Passive Park.

Another area favorite is taking in views of the water from the Spanish Moss Trail - a 10-mile greenway located in Northern Beaufort County. The Trail is a 12-foot wide, paved path dedicated to those who want to walk, run, bike, fish, skate, scoot or stroll ‒ offering spectacular Lowcountry water and marsh views, coastal wildlife viewing, and historic points of interest as it meanders through Spanish moss-draped neighborhoods.

The Intracoastal Waterway runs directly through historic downtown Beaufort, SC

In addition, the surrounding sea islands provide miles of pristine coastline for you to revel in. With marinas and day docks scattered throughout the area, you may find yourself considering trading in your car for a boat, as you hop from one island to another. From Habersham, you can easily reach downtown Beaufort or even Hilton Head Island with a scenic boat ride through Port Royal Sound and along the Beaufort River.

And don't miss out on Beaufort's annual Water Festival during the summer, where the entire community comes together to celebrate everything that can be sailed, paddled, or floated on the river!
