*We received a message written by a longtime resident getting ready to move. As sad as we are to see a family move from Habersham, we’re very proud to know what we have built here is much more than just a town. Here’s a excerpt from their goodbye:

Just wanted to say "Thank You" for 6 great years of friendship and neighborly love. I can honestly say I have never lived in such a wonderful community. We have sold our house and close today. We have relocated to Charlotte to make travel easier and yes we did move to a community so the dogs can still have a golf cart ride! I can never replace some of the highlights of Habersham! One being working with Rick and Tyler and getting Ten Market off the ground. What a wonderful adventure for both Nick and myself. The daily work was tough but the time spent seeing all the neighbors was the best. Tuesday afternoons with my ladies at the dock and Sunday nights at the River Retreat and who could forget "Wine Bar Wednesday" Bocce under the oaks and 4th of July and Halloween parades! I will especially miss my early morning bike rides (and) big parties on the porch. Inviting the whole neighborhood for Christmas Eve and everyone showed up! Always fun hanging out with my BFF Peggy Wilson and by the way she sold our house in 4 weeks. …Big Thanks to Habersham Properties for providing us all a great place to live and play! Will miss Y'all! But like so many... we could return!
